The CFO will play a pivotal role in driving the company’s financial strategy, ensuring financial stability, and supporting our continued growth and success. Reporting directly to the President, the CFO will lead all aspects of financial management and provide strategic guidance to the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Strategy and Planning:
- Develop and execute financial strategies and plans that align with the company’s overall objectives and drive sustainable growth.
- Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting process, working collaboratively with department heads to establish financial goals and targets.
- Financial Reporting and Analysis:
- Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, to provide insights into the company’s financial performance.
- Conduct comprehensive financial analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and risks, and make strategic recommendations to optimize financial performance.
- Cash Flow Management and Treasury:
- Manage cash flow and liquidity to ensure the company’s financial stability and ability to meet its financial obligations.
- Oversee treasury functions, including banking relationships, cash management, investment strategies, and debt financing.
- Accounting and Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with all financial regulations, accounting standards, and tax laws, including GAAP and SOX requirements.
- Direct the accounting team in maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records and implementing robust internal controls and processes.
- Risk Management:
- Identify and assess financial risks facing the company and develop strategies to mitigate them effectively.
- Establish and monitor internal controls to safeguard company assets and minimize risk exposure across all areas of the business.
- Strategic Leadership:
- Provide strategic financial guidance and counsel to the CEO, executive team, and board of directors, contributing to key decision-making processes and initiatives.
- Foster a culture of financial discipline, accountability, and transparency throughout the organization, driving cross-functional collaboration to achieve company goals.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
- Proven track record of success as a CFO or senior finance executive in the manufacturing or construction industry.
- Strong leadership abilities with the capacity to inspire and motivate teams to achieve exceptional results.
- Exceptional financial acumen and analytical skills, with a demonstrated ability to drive financial performance and business growth.
