Commercial Director

The Commercial Director will add value to our growth activities by identifying new commercial opportunities and managing marketing efforts. Responsible for providing strategic leadership for one of our emerging/high growth business segments by working with the Leadership Team to establish long-range goals, strategies, plans and policies.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Directs sales forecasting activities and sets performance goals accordingly.
  • Develop new business opportunities with current accounts and new accounts within the aerospace sector
  • Execute and drive new strategic growth initiatives and sales growth within aerospace customers
  • Work internally with technical engineering resources and conduct joint sales visits utilizing internal resources
  • Negotiate pricing, terms, contracts, and sales conditions that meet commercial standards of company
  • Achieves satisfactory profit/loss ratio and market share in relation to preset standards and industry and economic trends.
  • Establishes and maintains a consistent corporate image throughout all product lines, promotional materials, and events.
  • Prepares presentations to explain the Company’s current and future strategies.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business OR Engineering, Masters degree preferred
  • 10 + years of experience within the aerospace industry in sales, program management, product line management, or similar roles
  • Must have strong interpersonal skills, maturity and good judgment and be capable of communicating with a diverse range of individuals.
  • Broad functional experience in areas of strategic planning and marketing, business and market development, market research and planning and promotions/advertising.
