Vice President of Finance

The VP Finance is responsible for the financial strategy and oversight for the Division.. The VP Finance serves as the financial business partner for division’s senior leadership team and has the responsibility for all accounting, reporting, and analytics insuring one source of accurate information for all areas of the business.

Main responsibilities: 

  • Leading a team responsible for all business partnering needs for the division, including with $500MM sales:
    • Monthly analysis of P&L, Cash Flow and Balance Sheet
    • Leading annual budgeting process & 5 year plan development
    • Cost center reviews with business leadership at all levels of commercial and operational organization
    • Capex justification and tracking
    • Product line margin management
    • Innovation pipeline
  • Partner with shared services
    • Monthly closing – currently requires significant coordination efforts
    • A/R collections
  • Coordinate the creation of reporting packages
    • Monthly reports
    • Quarterly Business Reviews
    • Board reporting

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree, Finance, Accounting, Business, Operations, or related field preferred
  • 15+ years’ experience in Financial Planning & Analysis, cost accounting, strategy, mergers & acquisitions
  • Comprehensive knowledge of accounting/finance concepts, principles, procedures, regulations and reporting requirements
  • Self-starter, proactive, ability to prioritize and shift focus with ease and flexibility – excited to dive in, build quickly and drive output
  • Excellent project management skills; ability to manage multiple projects of complex scope
  • Experience with a finance and ERP systems SAP
